Carolina Borrero is a Colombian multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice includes photography, painting, installation and the deconstruction of plants. Her research explores territory through the relationships human beings establish with their surroundings and other living beings (specially plants) , examining the consequences and transformations that emerge from these interactions.

Her artistic practice functions as a laboratory of transformation in which natural materials become vehicles for investigating coexistence, memory and change. She understands her work as intrinsically connected to social and environmental concerns.

Borrero was selected to participate in the 2025 BIAM Biennial in Colombia. Her work has been exhibited at Espacio El Dorado, Galería La Cometa, Galería Nueveochenta and the Bogotá Botanical Garden, among other institutions and venues. Her work is held in public and private collections.
